Jack's Candle Pocket by Plum Street Samplers

Note from designer: I chose to design the year 1867 on the pocket because while I was looking up some information on jack o'lanterns, I came across a site that told of the first image of a carved pumpkin being published in an 1867 issue of Harper's Weekly.

The model was stitched over 2 threads on 36 ct. Desert Taipan by Fox and Rabbit with DMC and Colour and Cotton floss (DMC conversion available in pattern).
